As we approach Winter Solstice, each day brings us closer to the darkest night of the year. Astrologically, we are in the dark Scorpio moon phase making a trine to Chiron, which is currently retrograde in soulful Pisces. Chiron is the wounded healer; a title that sounds contradictory. Chiron invites us to witness the spiritual opportunities within our vulnerabilities, greatest fears, and deepest hurts. Although you can feel quite heavy, lost or confused, with each contraction into our darkness comes the pure potential of our expansion into light. Chiron will go direct on December 9th, when it trines to Mercury and Venus in Scorpio, gifting you with the opportunity to discover what is transforming within your soul.
By nature, we are cyclical creatures. The winter months allow us to conserve our energy and resources, so we can gain powerful insights. During this season, mirror nature and your innate circadian rhythm by having the courage to journey within and witness your internal delicious dark landscape. Ask what you are learning from any adversity you encounter. The darkness allows you to incubate, contemplate, and transform. When sadness or isolation emerges, witness the beauty of your own duality. Honor what emerges as sacred.
To support yourself, align with loving relationships, as well as include your loved ones in the spirit world. Give yourself permission to slow down, be less productive or do absolutely nothing. Have a hot cup of peppermint tea, a long phone call with a dear friend, say a prayer or take crisp morning walk. By embracing the sacred darkness of your soul, you will emerge lighter, brighter and wiser.
Wishing you all courage, kindness, and love, as you look into the depths of your radiant soul.
